A smaller product that is displayed with "Low-vision Printing!"
This short book is in 30 + point print type, perfect for a subnormal vision patient and should be present by Amazon as such. It is pricey (19 + dollars) for the amount of volume it displaces but provides concise material information. The book due to the style can be read in less than a half hour. There are no photographs, figures, reference sections, index, nor numbered pages to the book!. There is a table of content and ten chapters and a conclusion. The product is sturdy and well bounded. This does accomplish the task of viewing Nikola Tesla for what he truly was; an extraordinary visionary who sparked the world! Publisher "Hourly History"- never heard of it, but an interesting concept! You can probably read this for free.

Decent, Factual Book - Works Well For Junior High/High School Level Reader
The eBook "Nikola Tesla: A Life From Beginning to End" by Hourly History and Bridger Conklin is a pretty decent read from the biography standpoint. The book covers Tesla's entire life, from his simple upbringing to his sad death, and everything in between. Tesla was obviously a genius (and some say a certifiable lunatic) and as such lead a very colorful and intensely creative life and the book does a very good job of relating these tales of his life. The book reads like a somewhat long Wikipedia page as it covers his life in chronological order and doesn't really put a whole lot of importance in corroborating the information that is held within. As another reviewer pointed out, there are no references and book such as this (even at 48 pages) could stand to use at least a few because who is to say that the author didn't make up most of this information whole cloth. I did not note any factual errors, but I am not a Tesla expert so there may have been a few I missed. The writing style is very conversational and stylistically seems to be geared for the casual reader. That being said, the author still throws in a good amount of scientific information - most of which the author explains. However, the writing is very uneven and staggers from very good to middle school-level in writing style and word choice. In addition, the author doesn't appear to have a terribly good grasp of what is a complex subject and what isn't. While he chooses to define the term "Conscription" which seems like a pretty basic junior high-level word, the author chooses not to define the word "commutator" or the concept of "polyphase current" with the former being thrown about several times in one chapter and the second being a term that only 2nd year Physics or Engineering students would understand. This type of uneven writing/editting makes for similarly uneven reading.Overall I enjoyed the book, "Nikola Tesla: A Life From Beginning to End" by Hourly History and Bridger Conklin, as I am both a professional engineer and a student of the history of technology. However, I find myself wondering about its readability for a larger, non-scientific audience. The price is right though ($0.99) and at 48 pages, it isn't too hard of a read.

Did not expect such a great book
I've always felt history books are boring when they fail to be short, concise, and to the point. This book is amazing in that it captures the reader's attention, and doesn't become tedious and tiring to read. I've read other biographies about Tesla and his work, but this is by far the one with the best structure and most concise narration. Although this is a short biography and can be read in an incredibly short amount of time, nothing truly important is lost about Tesla, and the reader can be confident of learning much of what was relevant about his life and work. The best thing about this book was how little time it took to be read. If someone told me long ago I could learn so much about history (a particular subject I was never fond of) by investing so little time, I would be a history expert by now. I will definitely read more books like this in the future.

I love this book
Like so many others, I admire Nikola Tesla passionately. I have his portrait in my home and often look at it and thank Mr Tesla for all he has given to the world. I have many electronic and wireless items that would never exist if he had not invented the technologies and shared them with the world. I read and watch documentaries about him very often. I gave my teenage grandson a DVD documentary about Nikola Tesla for Christmas because it is important to have people to admire and this man is worthy of our admiration. This book is well written and I will read it more than once. I am grateful for books and movies that keep him alive in our hearts and minds. He is certainly alive in our everyday lives. This book is great!

Fast Read for A Basic Understanding of Tesla Technology Utilized In Everyday Life
"Nikola Tesla: A Life From Beginning to End" is an informative book that can easily be read at a fast pace without compromising comprehension. It can be read by English speaking readers beginning around age 10 supplementing with Physics study aids. The ideal age is most likely around 15 years old, which corresponds to the freshman year of High School. It is a book for everyday use for understanding everyday life. I would not have understood the grandiosity of the 'posh' Tesla car store in the mall had I not reviewed Nikola Tesla's biography. It has been a long time since I graduated from college with a BA in Chemistry (emphasis in Physical Chemistry), and I enjoyed reviewing Tesla's inventions and the basic scientific principles behind them in this fun, informative and fast paced kindle book.
