Well researched work

It is an excellent piece of investigative journalism. Author maintained anonymity to facts and presented precious information.Stories are thrilling.Lover of spy thriller must read it once.

An Excellent Read

Excellent insights. Ring side view of what it takes to safeguard your country. Thanks Satish. You have taken the pain to bring out stories which otherwise would have gone down the history untold.

Insightful

Very insightful and well researched work.Narration and story telling could be a bit better when compared to works of Ben MacIntyre.Overall, a must read on how Indian intelligence saved India time and again.5* for sure.

Insightful Book

Showcases the reality of spycraft across agencies as against fantasies as portrayed in films. Author is trying to say Information is king!

Good

A well written book giving insight into working of RAW. But it also raises a question whether speaking out about modalities of a spy agency. Knowing certain things from external sources is different from knowing first hand

Well balanced "non-Bonded" work

Those expecting Tigers and Pathans ! Forget it ! This is how REAL intelligence work is done . Contacts. Influencing. Losing and developing leads and relationships. The references and citations are good. However at times , it feels as if author is only focusing on all the "right stuff". There are only two examples of corruption ; other writers on R&AW have mentioned more instances of Moles being suborned and financial irregularities.Given the nature of the work, surely, none of the successes can be shared here as it will betray ongoing operations. Yet there is a feeling that the author knows more than he is letting on.Since the author is a journalist, he surely cant be accused of being biased - in comparison to the other books on R&AW available , which are usually by ex-officers of the agency, always painting a favorable picture.Overall its a decent book that could have done with some more information .

Extra ordinary patriotic real events documented

India owes a lot to it s true soldiers in whatever form they work. Author covers espionage in detail in this gripping tale told with much passion and alias. Thanks for documenting this bringing out to the knowledge of common public which otherwise could have been known only to few
