I bought this in February this year but waited until March to plant it to avoid the frost. It was well packaged but to be honest just looked like a big dried up stick with twigs. I soaked the roots as advised in the packaging, planted it in the garden and left it alone for a few weeks as there was quite a lot of rain. Following some sunny weather I went to check on it and couldn't believe how well it had done. It was covered in shoots, little leaves and buds. A few days later the buds opened and for the last week or so it has been covered in beautiful white blossom. I had not realised it would flower so shortly after planting. It is clwarly a very hethy and good quality tree and I am so glad I bought it and hope it continues to thrive.

I bought this a few month back already growing strong leaves

I bought this tree for my mum 7 years ago. Last year was the first bumper crop year due to the good weather I expect but it has been growing and getting better year after year. The one thing I’d flag is that the cherries are much lighter than pictured in the listing as I’ve posted here. I don’t mind however, they are sweet and very good indeed! I only docked star for this reason as the listing is not accurate.

Came well packed and planted immediately.

Bought it about 2 month ago. First I have received a stick with no branches, but customer service was good enough and sent me another tree, multi branches as mentioned on the Amazon. This second tree had very much cut roots. But customer service reassured that that ok. Now 2 month passed but no leaves yet. Even that the tree looks alive, not even small sign of developing leaves. All my other trees have a lot of leaves and flowers already. Will wait more, but quit disappointed. Also please pay attention that 5ft means that the tree is cut on the height of 5ft. It’s not the small/ patio tree by itself.

Arrived 3 days after order placed. A stick with tiny tiny buds, nothing like those pictures in the item description - the root is a lot smaller, and it doesn't have any branches at all. Root was wrapped in cling film. Looked a bit dry so I soaked the roots in a bucket of water for 1 hour before planting it out in the garden.Almost one month on, it is still a stick. The tiny tiny buds are still tiny tiny buds. No sign of life at all. While I still have couple days left before I can return it, I've decided to keep it for three reasons: (1) The plant nurseries had a hard time in the past year; (2) I still have some hope in the stick; (3) I can't really be bothered to dig the stick out, wrap it and go to post office to return it.A lesson learned not to buy bare root plants online in the future - it's false economy. Buy potted instead; at least they'd have better chance survive the transport process.
