Great Quality Audio Splitter, Highly Recommend.
This is a brilliant little piece of kit. I was looking for a way to have both my Xbox and PC playing sound through my speakers at the same time, and this Audio Splitter is absolutely ideal. I have used this in a slightly over-complicated set-up due to some awkward features on my speakers (the Aux input is on the front, and having this plugged into it all the time wouldn't look particularly attractive, so I have Aux cables running from my two devices into the female ends of this splitter, then the male end plugged into a female-female Aux adapter, then the speakers' built-in Aux cable (that runs from the back of the speakers) plugs into the other end of the adapter... fingers crossed that explanation made sense!). I have been using this product for a month or two now, and am extremely happy with it, hence the 5 Star rating. So, Lets break this down:Sound QualityThought I'd start off with this as it is arguably the most important aspect. The audio quality is absolutely superb; I can play sound from both of my devices with no noticeable drop in quality or volume. It might be worth noting that the first time I set this up the volume would half as soon as both devices were playing; however, I just unplugged the Aux cables and then plugged them back in and everything worked perfectly! I don't know why this solved the problem, I probably just didn't plug one of the cables in properly the first time or something.I also feel like it's worth mentioning that when I have both devices plugged in, only one is playing sound, and the speakers are turned up pretty loud, I do experience the tiniest little bit of static noise (for some reason only when I move my mouse on my desk, I have no idea why). I firmly believe that this is most likely caused by my my complicated set-up and isn't caused by the splitter specifically, but it might be worth bearing this in mind anyway. Like I say, I only experienced it in those specific conditions, and it can be easily solved by changing one of the factors (I normally unplug the device I'm not using). This probably doesn't deliver audiophile levels of quality, but I'm not an audiophile, and neither are the vast majority of people. I may not be an audiophile but I still like good quality sound and have good quality speakers, and this easily delivers the level of audio quality that I, and I imagine everyone else who's not an audiophile, would expect.Build QualityThis Audio Splitter is really nice quality, the whole device like it is solidly built. The wires are flexible enough that they can sit in whatever position you want them to, whilst being sturdy enough that they are unlikely to tangle. The plugs are made out of sturdy materials, certainly don't feel cheap and flimsy, and feel like they could withstand a lot of wear and tear without much of an issue. The Gold-plated connectors are a really nice touch, especially considering the price, helping to prevent audio quality loss. Aux cables click firmly into the female ends and feel secure, and the male end fits securely inside other female ports, again without feeling like it'll fall out.PriceThe price for this is absolutely superb. For £6.99 I would expect a cheap, flimsy cable with bad rubber coated ports and a noticeable audio drop, but none of those things can be found. Really is brilliant value for money, why pay more when this easily meets the needs of anyone who's not an audiophile?DeliveryI had this delivered within a week of ordering, despite using the Free Delivery option (not Amazon Prime, just regular, 'slow' delivery) and ordering on a Sunday, and the package arrived in good condition. Perfect!

Well built, worth the little extra.
I was looking for a headphone splitter that would fit my iPad whilst it was in its case; there are plenty of cheap versions available out there, but I decided to pay slightly more for this one.It comes in a nice package and feels well built, the main thing is that it works with the case on my iPad! The added benefit of it being corded means I don't feel like I'm restricted to a block at the top of my iPad that could get caught or snapped.Connecting the headphones requires a bit more force than I expected, but that ensures a secure fit with that 'click' to tell you it's connected. All in all, it was probably worth the little bit more it cost, I've added it to my bag and it'll come with me and my headphones on all trips from now on.

Perfect audio splitter - which is different from an audio switch.
This item is well manufactured with a quality look and feel. If you need an audio splitter this is an excellent choice. However, I want to mention something that could help if you're trying to achieve what I was and that was to plug two inputs (phone and computer) into one output (my speaker system). This audio splitter is for splitting a single output into two so that two sets of head or earphones, for example, can share whatever is playing on the single source device (a phone for example). It is not designed to plug two inputs into one output, as I found out. After a little research I found I needed what's called a "two way stereo audio switch" - and if you search on Amazon using those very words then the little box of tricks will pop up. I went for the HQ 3-Way Stereo Input Control Box even though I only need two inputs because the reviews were so good - especially about the lack of hiss, pop and interference which some had reported on the cheaper two way unit.Because my equipment has 3.5mm audio jacks and the audio switch unit had RCA sockets I bought three 3.5mm to RCA cables which are cheap enough. All in all the solution cost me around £20 and I now have clear, crisp audio from either my computer or phone at the flick of a switch. If you buy the cheaper two way audio switch and the cheapest 3.5mm to RCA cables then I guess you could pull this price down to £12 or so. For me it was a one time purchase so, not being an audiophile, I went with items that had better reviews.I hope this helps anyone starting from scratch who's looking to plug two audio sources into one set of speakers. If you're just after a quality audio splitter, this UGREEN thing is the way to go.

Stiff but well behaved
For splitting audio, does not support volume/play controls from headphones, but that's fine by me. Apparently well constructed and functions well. Some reduction of volume, but that's because there's two headphones connected to it - your impedance may vary. The connections were pretty stiff at first but have improved with use. The metal casings do click against each other, but it's a small detail. Overall it's what I wanted.

Simple and did it's job
In 2018, I purchased the UGREEN Headphone Splitter Cable, intending to enhance my gaming experiences with friends. This simple yet functional accessory allowed us to share audio while gaming and enjoy music together. While the splitter didn't offer any groundbreaking features, it performed its intended function reliably. In terms of sound quality, the splitter delivered a decent performance, providing stereo sound to both parties as desired. It served its purpose well for an extended period, accompanying us through numerous gaming sessions, until we eventually opted to upgrade to a more advanced solution. Overall, it fulfilled our needs effectively during its time in use.
