Q: can anyone tell me the width of these belts please?

the width is 1 inch (25mm approx.) I bought a black one...great belt..well-made...good price. I had one similar when I was at school a long time ago... and I was delighted to see they are still available in this day and age. I hope this is of help to you...regards, Neil from Scotland!

Q: what is the largest waist size it will fit

40" when it is laid out flat but since it is very stretchy I guess it would fit up to 42" or maybe 44" at a push.

I think it would fit in circumference however, it is a narrow belt, (abour 30mm) much like they were for kids.
