I have used these since the dog was a pup. They work perfectly and I like the thick band of the leash. Retracts great and withstands the dog running full force at the end of it.

This is high-quality: well made and strong. My dog is only 32 lbs, but he broke the last leash I got him in under 2 weeks... which was rated for up to 50-lb dogs. So I got him this leash that's rated for up to 110-lb dogs. The handle is large — I have large hands, and this thing is big even for my hands (so maybe too big for some users). I like it, for my hands. Definitely well-made, and the lock functionality is good too. Well-designed. Great value for the money.

Love this leash. Works well. Easy to stop the leash from extending or to retract it. Can be any length. Have dropped it several times and durable. Every once in awhile if leash is fully extended when it winds back up it gets slightly wonky and you have to extend it all the way out again - but probably 1 in 30 times and only when leash is fully extended

My dog loves to explore and circle me, and this leash never twists or gets stuck. The nylon feels strong and hasn’t frayed after several weeks of daily use. My dog is a 65-pound puller, and I still feel like I have control. My dog’s first leash finally brunt out. I have a toy poodle that weighs around 12lbs so I got the small. It is a little larger than I expected. About the size of my hand. But it’s sturdy, lightweight and easy to use. My last leash was 10ft so the extra length has been nice. I like how you can quickly hold the lock feature for a quick correction or secure it in place if needed. If I need another leash anytime in the future I would definitely consider Tug.

This leash works great for my small dog (pug)! I moved from a standard leash to this extending leash and it's a game changer on our walks. The retractable portion of the leash is SO smooth, no kinks or snags. The leash feels sturdy and well made. I love the handle; it feels ergonomic in my hand. It isn't heavy at all. The design of the leash is perfect. The absolute hands down best part of this leash is the optional additional of the bite guard extension. My pug gets so excited to take walks that he bites the lower portion of his leash that is attached to his harness and shakes it around. This included bite guard portion of the leash is made for dogs like him!
