Found my 10year old laptop in the garage the battery was dead but could be plugged in the wall. So I seen this battery on here that it had a quick shipment. 100% compatible. very easy to install. No tool kit need for install on my hp laptop.

This battery saved me from having to buy a new laptop. I have an HP laptop and the battery had swelled and broke the mouse.My husband used the plastic pry tool included to open up the laptop. Unfortunately my laptop would not release completely. Whether that was our inability to get it off, or the way my laptop is made, I'm not sure.We still had room to get the old swollen battery out and the new one installed.I let it drain as suggested in the instructions before the initial charge to 100%. It charges up very fast and works great.I would purchase this battery again.

Great replacement battery for the price. Easy install.Great directions included to get the laptop open. Install could have been challenging without the instructions.Totally recommended.

It's only been a day since I put the battery in, so I might have to update this review, if something changes, but it made my laptop work again, so that's happy! It was really difficult to get the back of the computer off to exchange the battery, but once that was off, it was easy to install the new battery.

Okay, I'm THAT guy!!! The one who HAS to work ON laptops at the shop, since the Data General ONE model laptop PC from 1982.......I KNOW batteries.This one JUST passed the 24 hour burn-in, drained it to 13%, which TOOK >five HOURS! Then, it recharged in LESS than two hours, on a NON-OEM power supply, no less...(try THAT, with a Dell, or AlienWare system), this battery is fantastic for the price point! Mine went on a restored g7 Pavilion, running ALL AMD mainboard/CPU/Radeon GPU (it SUCKS IT DOWN), with 16gb of DDR3 ram modules. GREAT battery! WILL be getting more!

Unfortunately after some months the battery started to fail on us. We have to keep plug in power adapter to have it on.Not sure what happen it works well for at least 2 months and them started to be fully large and lost power by it self faster. We just ow if we leave it outdoor in the van because winter the battery will disappear but the old original battery was good. We came after some days not using the truck and the laptop turn on in middle January or February so why this replacement battery van hold the powerWe need to buy a. New one...being lazy but now summer still doing the sameSo this brand not good

Item came as advertised. So far it is working properly. Installation was easy. It would be nice if steps came with. Time will tell how long it will last.
