The Gingerbread Man (Keepsake Stories) (Volume 3) Paperback – August 23, 2001

So many of the fairy tales we knew from childhood have been rewritten to be more "correct" like Billy goat gruff that I ordered. This one thankfully is right on! It is the original story I remember I loved as a child. It arrived quickly, will go nicely with the gingerbread dolls I made for my grandsons.

Love this book from my childhood, one of the first books I bought for my daughter when I found out I was pregnant.

Our daughter enjoyed sitting on our lap and listening to The Gingerbread Man. Soon she knew the story and would say "You can't catch me I'm the Gingerbread", along with us. She would motion with her arms and pretend to be running.It was her favorite children's book and ours too because she liked it so much. She is nearly forty five and has two granddaughters. We wanted to give them the book so their Mom could read it to them just as it was to their Grandmother. Whenever I saw a Golden Book Display always tried to find it. Thought it may be out of print until I looked at Amazon.com.

I purchased this book because I enjoyed it going up and I read it to my children. Now I'm a grandma and decided to start reading to my grandchildren and they love it, what surprised me the most is the price of this used (NEW) book, it wasnt used at all and I was able to personalize this book with their names in it so now they smile saying read my book.this was one of many books I've purchased and love so much. I have recommended this to my children for home collections. even their cheap selves can afford this. Thank you soo much

This book has been read over and over and over again just like Brown Bear, Brown Bear book. My children don’t get tired of it after reading it every night for the past month. I definitely recommend.
