i use this lens on my Sony A7R3 for landscape and Architectural photos its doing the job i wanted it to do, here are just some photos from my last trip to Ireland to give you some ideas what its like, i found the photos were ok, not used any filters on the sky in Lightroom, these images are strait out of the camera and changed from raw to jpg so i could upload on to amazon so no editing as such

I love this lens! It's perfect for landscape photography and performs extremely well in low-light conditions. Autofocus works well and the lens delivers attractive sunstars when shooting at night. I don't often use it for portraits but the large aperture provides pleasing bokeh.Overall image quality is stunning with only minor optical adjustments required in post-processing.The lens is well-built and feels solid. It is far superior to my old Samyang 14mm F2.8 which suffered ugly sunstar artifacts and distortion.Highly recommended!

purchased in August just decided to use it and the lens hood is missing, I can’t say if I misplaced or if it was always missing but can’t find anywhere contacted Viltrox by chat to ask to purchase a replacement was told they don’t offer replacements but to email them at info email address I have emailed twice and no reply, Viltrox chat suggested try universal hood I have tried 3 with no success as they cause vignette unfortunately this means I will not get use from this lens and puts me off buying Viltrox again as unable to replace any missing parts otherwise the actual lens is good

This lens has fantastic build quality that’s right up there with Sony and Sigma. Image has no colour casts is very neutral which is perfect and sharpness is fantastic even on my A7Rv this lens handles 61mp flawlessly.Autofocus is fast and silent on par with any of the top brands. Accuracy seems very good too in my testing. Definitely now one of my favourite lenses. On my camera I can take advantage of aps-c mode so I get a 24mm image when cropped in that I found to be sharper and more accurate focus than than the sigma 24mm HSM Art which I’ve now sold and replaced with this lens giving me in effect 16mm and 24mm in one lens.I would highly recommend this lens. If I was been not picky looking for anything negative the only thing I could suggest is it would be nice to have an aperture ring lock switch. But to be honest that’s not really a negative. 10/10 Viltrox!!
