These bulbs last .they're easy to connect up. they function great.no flickering great colours excellent value for money.just follow instructions for connecting to your WiFi .they do seem to connect much easier with matter.worth that bit extra glad I updated them now as I don't have to reboot them if I loose signal they do it automatically sticking with the tapo brand now.

I have quite a few TAPO bulbs in my house, and they work great. The light is good and strong, the functions all work, they work smoothly with the TAPO app and the ALEXA system. Setting them up is a snap. I couldn't be happier.

Great bulb. Easy to set up. Bought to use as 'fake sunrise' during winter. Option of different colours, scheduling, and control made this a great buy. Bit pricey but nice quality and works well with rest of tp link tapo stuff I have. Would buy again.

The media could not be loaded. Love these, pairing and setting up is a breeze.Lovely warm to 'every colour ever' adjustments.Doesn't flicker or have a weird headache giving light.If you turn off the power to it and on (i.e., a light switch) .. it will instantly come on @ the last setting (like a normal lightbulb 💡)Super Bright amd can be dimmed really low.Works perfectly with Google Home, can change any light in the house with voice commands with Phone, tablet and smartwatch with no delays or lag… Instant.Setting single 'keyword' commands with Google Home to set any mood, or time based setting is fab.So… Is a smartlight needed? No, not really… But when you have one, it's a game changer.

So far so good!Easy set up and integration with my Apple HomeKit set up.It’s Matter defined, but the HomeKit found the bulb and connected straight away and so far has no drop outs or problems.I will state though, this is 2.4g only. And my broadband is pushing out 945mb of WiFi , If your home is on split 2.4G & 5g broadband, Homekit only likes the 2.4G.Once it was set up no hitches.Works well and via an all Apple network and iPhone.Much better than the Meross bulb that blew on me after just about 6 months. Meross won’t entertain any refund or exchange.

As someone new to smart bulbs, I found the Tapo straightforward to set up—no hub needed, just connected to Wi-Fi. The colours are fun, and the away mode gives peace of mind when I’m out. Voice control works well with Google Assistant. Solid purchase!

Terrible integration with Apple HomeKit. Should work flawlessly being that it’s “matter certified”. Do yourself a favour and spend a couple more quid and get a thread matter bulb. You’ll spend hours less trying get it connect with your chosen home system. I initially had issues getting this to connect in the first place. But after three months. It’s just dropped off again for seemingly no reason at all. I can only get it to be picked up in the native Tapo app, which I have zero desire to use.
