Got this for the symbols
I work with adults with disabilities, and was asked to find a med box that was easier to read. There wasn't an issue with days of the week, it was more the coloring of old box. I found this one, and the lettering is still clear to read, but the symbols and colors help! Each little door includes a picture of the sun, yellow in color, perfect for mornings - or the moon, blue in color, excellent for night time! This box makes it more clear of what you're taking, and at time if day. I think its also helpful when setting up meds for the week. I like that you can pop out individual days to carry in pocket or purse, making it more discreet if taking meds out in community, and so you don't have to take entire box to a restaurant or something. Its inexpensive, easy to read in multiple ways, and effective.

Near-perfect
Out of all the twice-a-day pill organizers on Amazon, I think this one is by far the best. The plastic feels thick and high-quality, especially for the relatively-low price. I like how the day/night colors are very distinct from eachother (I got the blue/yellow one). And I love how each day piece not only snaps out, but also easily clicks back into place and *stays* in place, which makes it extremely easy to refill and move the entire thing around. This was my main beef with pretty much every other "removable day pieces" pill sorter on Amazon: while others are more compact which is a plus, most of them are essentially seven individual daily pill organizers that all sit loosely inside of one large container. This means that whenever you have to refill them, you have to pour all the little containers out, fill each one, and then reorganize them back into the large container. It's not a huge deal or anything, but I find this to be clunky and annoying in practice, I just hate fiddling with little things in general. On the other hand, this product looks and functions exactly like any standard pill organizer. The day pieces don't pop out unless you *want* them to pop out - they click into place perfectly (you can flip the entire thing upside-down and shake it, and they won't fall out), while still being easy to take out when needed. Because I take my pills at home a majority of the time, this is perfect for me. I like the option of grabbing one day piece when needed, but I especially appreciate how this feature isn't prioritized like it is with most of the other removable-day-piece organizers. While I really love this thing and highly recommend it, I do have one complaint: I hate how the days of the week are written as Sunday-Saturday on the base. I'm a creature of habit, and when it comes to pill organizers I'm a Monday-Sunday guy through-and-through. In fairness, you can just rearrange the day pieces if you want, but the text printed on the base can't be changed (it's also worth mentioning that there's braille printed on the base as well, which is a very nice touch). I'll probably just end up whiting the text out or covering it or something honestly. I really wish this company sold M-Su *and* Sa-Su options for each organizer, or designed it so the base could be swapped around just like the day pieces. But despite being annoying to me, it's really not a big deal. Again, this pill sorter is fantastic, inexpensive, and absolutely worth buying.

I purchased this because of the symbols
I was requested to locate a med box that was simpler to read since I work with adults with impairments. The days of the week were less of a problem than the color of the old box. The letters are still readable in this one I discovered, but the colours and icons are helpful! Each little door has a picture of the sun, which is yellow in color and ideal for mornings, or the moon, which is blue in color and great for evenings! The contents of this package are more evident, as is the time of day when you are taking it. It's also beneficial when preparing medications for the week, in my opinion. I appreciate that you can remove single days to put in your pocket or bag, which is more discreet if you're taking medication in public, and that you don't have to carry the full package with you to a restaurant or anything. It's cheap, effective, and simple to read in a variety of ways.

Useful for daily Omega-3 supplements but may not hold many pills
I bought this pillbox several months ago and I've found it quite useful. I like how each of the day compartments pop out if necessary. I really haven't encountered any problems so far and don't expect to. As at least one other reviewer said, be careful of the product dimensions.Pros:- Good if you don't have many pills/supplements to store. I put 1 large 1400mg Nature Made Omega-3 supplement inside. They fit well but it might not leave much room for other pills.- Daily compartment pills can pop out of the base so you can carry them with you. It certainly is useful for traveling.- Compartments are also useful for keeping routines: Once I take my daily supplement in my office, I put the empty case back on the tray and take out the next day's case. I place this case next to my iPhone - I don't take these cases home with me so this reminds me to put this next day compartment on top of my work keyboard before I leave work. And the next day, the cycle resumes. I then refill all compartments at the end of the day on Friday and I can see how well I was in taking my supplements that week.- Color coded for AM/PM. I only use the AM side for one pill but I imagine this can be useful for people who have multiple pills to take during the day.- The lid stays closed. I've taken these cases with me on occasion for traveling and they have never popped open while my belongings were being transported- Has not worn out. Since I take these compartments out regularly, I've been weary of them wearing out and no longer going back inside the base but that had not occurred at of the time of this review.Cons:- The profile of this pillminder could be a bit lower in height for me. If anything, a wider length/width could create a slimmer profile so people can put them inside their pockets.Overall, I really like this pillminder and have found this to be useful and practical to use. I couldn't give it a full 5 stars because it's not perfect but it's still a very good product.

Just perfect
Plenty of room in each compartment. But the whole thing is not unwieldy. Super simple coloring and labeling so sick people can figure it out. Plus each day’s compartment pops out if you want to take just that day with you.
