I think it’s holding up fine and has the features people would usually ask for
I’ve used this box for a week now, mostly during the evenings after work, and it’s handled everything I’ve asked of it. Streaming is smooth, and I’ve had no trouble with loading or playback, even when switching between apps or running updates—it just keeps going. Setup was quick with the voice remote helping a bit more than I expected, though I still use the regular buttons most of the time. One thing I noticed is the compact shape makes it easy to place behind the TV or tuck out of sight, and the LED indicators don’t distract like others I’ve used. If someone is just looking for a box to stream or browse and doesn’t want to dig through a lot of menus, this does fine and holds up with a steady internet connection. As someone who uses devices more for browsing and checking media files than regular TV, I found this worked without the system freezing up or needing constant resets. I think the design is straightforward, and while I didn’t explore every feature, the few I tried responded without delay or hiccups. The box has a clean menu with enough storage for most apps I’d normally install. Switching between Bluetooth speakers or a controller didn’t slow it down. It’s just one of those gadgets that you plug in and forget about—it does the job, doesn’t get in the way, and I don’t have to adjust things each time I turn it on. The build doesn’t feel cheap, but I wouldn’t expect it to handle a fall either, so I placed it carefully on the shelf. I think it’s holding up fine and has the features people would usually ask for, like voice commands, updated Bluetooth, and better internet speeds, without having to dive into anything too technical.

Great customer support and product
Excellent customer service. I bought 2 and thought they weren’t working so I submitted a return request. They immediately reached out and helped me get them working. I’ve had several other questions because I’m horrible with electronics and technology. They literally respond within minutes to hours with kindness understanding and help. I never write reviews but with as kind and helpful as they have been I wanted to write a review because they definitely deserve the business. I have recommended them to family and friends. We completely got rid of Comcast. There’s so much on these boxes. The only complaint I have is I can talk to text or type in something and it says no such show or movie but then I might find it scrolling thru them. I wish it could find them a bit easier. But overall great product and support.

A game changer in technology. Be prepared to cancel your cable/satellite subscription service!!
I recently purchased my second SuperBox and it has completely transformed my entertainment experience. Plus in the long run it has saved me money because I canceled my ridiculously expensive cable subscription. From its powerful 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM to its upgraded voice remote, this device is packed with features that make streaming effortless and enjoyable. The Android 12.0 operating system ensures smooth navigation, and the 1000Mbps Ethernet & WiFi 6 support provide lightning-fast connectivity. Whether I’m watching movies, gaming, or browsing, everything loads instantly without major issues. Pair that with Bluetooth 5.2 for seamless audio connectivity, and you’ve got a cinematic experience right at home. The voice command feature is a game-changer. Initially I had problems with the voice command because it wasn't working, but once I reset the box, it has worked with no issues. Instead of endlessly scrolling, I can simply speak my request, and the device finds it instantly. It’s incredibly intuitive and perfect for all ages. The sleek blue design fits beautifully into my setup, and its compact form factor makes it easy to place anywhere. If you’re looking for a high-performance streaming device with top-tier features, the S5 Max is the way to go. It’s fast, reliable, and packed with everything you need for an immersive entertainment experience. It is also very easy to set up. The only reason why I didn't give it five stars is because you have to purchase one for every television if you want to use it in different rooms. It would be nice if you can just purchase one and it will work for the entire household.

Cut the Cord!!!
Looking for a way to cut the cord and still get access to a ton of shows and movies? I recently got my hands on the 2024 Super S5 Max, and here's my honest take on it.What I Like:* Easy Peasy Setup: Seriously, you just plug it in, connect to Wi-Fi, and you're pretty much good to go. Even if you're not a tech whiz, you'll likely find it straightforward.* Content Galore: This box opens up a huge world of content – live TV, sports, movies, you name it. It's especially great if you're into North American programming.* Voice Remote is a Plus: The voice remote makes searching for what you want to watch super convenient. No more endless scrolling and typing!* Decent Specs: With 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, it generally handles streaming without too much trouble. What to Keep in Mind:* The Price Tag: It's not a cheap device. You're paying a premium upfront, with the promise of saving on monthly subscriptions down the line.* Buffering Blues (Sometimes): While it usually works well, I have experienced some freezing and buffering, even with a decent internet connection. It's not constant, but it can be frustrating when it happens. The Bottom Line:If you're looking for an easy way to access a massive amount of content and are willing to pay the upfront cost and accept the potential downsides, the Super S5 Max could be a good option. However, if you're concerned about a super-stable, always-perfect streaming experience, you might want to explore other avenues.Overall, I'm finding it to be a pretty useful gadget.

Large number of channels
Literally my whole family had box like this and I have decided to get one as well. Easy setup. Massive amount of content like live tv, prerecorded, movies. Over 1000 things to choose from. The pre recording of about 85 popular channels making it easy to jump back on shows and it doesn't lag. Most of the channels from large cities like Denver, LA, etc are well represented.
