Replaced original beater which went a bit odd after getting into the dishwasher. This one fits, does what it’s supposed to do and does not seem to suffer in the dishwasher. Worth considering if you’re in the market for a replacement item.

This is a well-made stainless steel replacement beater which apparently only fits the full-size Kitchen Aid mixer range. Unfortunately I didn't notice that it's too big to fit my Kitchenaid Artisan 3.3L Mini Stand Mixer (5KSM3311XBER) and the description doesn't make that super-clear, so beware if you have the smaller one - the pictures look the same! The beater fits into the mixer fine, but doesn't clear the bottom of the bowl. I'll know for next time! A shame because it's a nice heavy alternative to the coated one provided with the mixer - it's just that bit too big.

The media could not be loaded. This stainless steel flat beater is very well made with a good design that is very reminiscent of the K.A. mixer and compliments it nicely. It is slightly heavier than the supplied beaters but that’s not a bad thing in any way. It’s also bare stainless steel and not painted, again not a negative. Its design is pleasing to the eye and it has no sharp edges. It fit very well onto the collet of the mixer and sat at the correct level to the bowl without any need to adjust it. We would definitely keep an eye out for other accessories from this range. I would highly recommend this flat beater for the K.A. mixer range at the current price point.

The Homgen stainless steel flex edge beater attachment or paddle as I prefer to refer to it is a perfect size for the Kitchenaid Artisan 4.8L/5QT which is the most commonly found model in home kitchens.It is a lot heavier than the original white enamel accessory that comes with the KA stand mixer. With regard to the size, it is practically the same size and almost identical cut apart from a slight variation of the inner design of the paddle.The paddle fits my stand mixer perfectly. The box explains how to adjust the screw if the paddle sits too low. If you're not aware of the 'dime test', look it a video on Youtube. It will show how to properly test the paddle so it fits correctly.This Homgen flex edge beater attachment is very well made and smooth. It is a great improvement on the original accessory that ends up losing its white coating over time.A small hanging attachment is provided. I prefer to keep my accessories protected from the dust personally but it is convenient to have the choice of hanging the paddle if you have the space.A great accessory that I highly recommend.

I was disappointed that although the description clearly states this will fit the KSM150 the shaft is too long for my 5OT bowl which is an original KA bowl. I don’t question that it’s made from stainless steel but the casting and the finishing work to it are not the quality I would expect, if you look at the photos there is a flaw in one corner, not a big one but something that will attract debris, the fit to the power shaft is not very precise and the grinding to smooth the casting as a bit too obvious/unsightly. For me the overall the quality is only just average. The price is attractive, however it doesn’t fit the 5qt bole so certainly will not fit the 4.5 qt bowl. I couldn’t turn the KA on as the beater didn’t fit so can’t comment if it was balanced or how noisy it is in operation. It is much less expensive that an original item from KA whic is c.£72 according to a quick google search, however that item looks much higher quality and also looks fully coated making clean up much easier.my conclusion is to not purchase this copy but spend the money to get an original.

As the picture shows, this is not a Flex Edge beater, despite what the product title says.Aside from this, the product works well. It attaches and comes off with very little effort, much like an origianl Kitchenaid mixer paddle. It doesn't feel loose or wobbly when installed, and it seems to be rigid and durable. So far I've had no issues using this beater, and it's done the job nicely.No rusting or similar despite multiple uses and washes, which backs up this being good quality stainless steel.If you're looking for a metal replacement beater, this does the job perfectly. Just make sure you know this is NOT the Flex Edge beater.
