Works well so far for my open top 5.5 gal Aqueon tank. Sturdy on the sides not too bulky of a look. Haven’t set the light timer yet but I plan to.

For the price this thing does great I use it on my 35 gallon it's got a 24-hour cycle from sunlight to sunset it's got all different kinds of settings I mean this is a great price for this light trust me I even wish I would have got the larger one

Hygger HG128 48W LED Aquarium Light, 48-54 Inch Fish Tank Light with Timer Auto On/Off, Sunrise Sunset Mode, Adjustable Brightness and Colors, Full Spectrum Light with Extendable Brackets for Freshwater.The light arrived the box was undamaged and taped really well. I pulled everything out of the box to make sure all the items where there. Missing from the box was the metal sliding legs to hold the light above the aquarium and instructions. Fortunately I did not throw out my older hygger light that just died so I was able to use those metal pieces. If it hadn't be for someone on a review post showing the instructions on how to use the time, I would have been out of luck because no one has a video up on the 24 hr timer portion of the light.I have has several Hygger lights and really like them for my planted tank and African cichlids tank. The colors really pop on the fish. I don't really care about all the different light choices because my plants need a full spectrum of light. I do really like the sun up to sun down feature so my fish settle into a day night routine. I apologies for the messy tank, I'm in the middle of doing a change in the aquascape. I am giving the four stars because of the missing metal legs and instructions.

Is absolutely better than I thought And it sets itself from dawn to midnight. It's absolutely great.

Does really wonderful job on my 55 gallon tank. Thinner than what I thought it was going to be, which is no problem. I did need to watch a video on how to set it up with the timer, but after that, it was cake I’d buy another one if I can talk •my Wife into another tank. Lol

Need to be bigger

Very nice lighting system for a great price!

Light started to get realllllly hot like burn you hot a few months after I got it (now out of return window). Support says it's supposed to be hot enough to burn me even though it didn't do this before and also none of my other lights do this. Disappointed in their customer support. Great light otherwise.
