Absolutely delicious/after roasting
I usually drink roasted dandelion root tea as a coffee/caffeine replacement. So I bought this because it seemed like a really good deal. I tried it straight from the bag, in hot water, then filtered with a nut milk bag and made it as I usually do my dandelion root tea. Do not do that. It tastes like flowers. You will need to roast it before it will taste like coffee. I didn't realize this. I roasted it at 325 for 13 minutes mixing up every few minutes. Let cool then grinded it with my coffee bean grinder. Makes a quart size jar. Only takes a tablespoon of powder to make a quart size delicious drink. I still filtered mine with a nut bag and it tasted so good. So if you buy this and you're seeking that coffee replacement you will need to roast this. I gagged the first time I drank it. I thought it was spoiled or something. Thankfully it dawned on me there's a difference in taste when not roasted. Now that I roasted it is absolutely delicious and it makes a lot more than what you get in tea bags for much less the cost. Highly recommend(after roasting). Great quality.

Excellent product, good taste, major health benefits
The numerous health benefits of dandelion root as well as steamed dandelion greens do not need to be summarized here. I suggest you do your own research and decide if a regular infusion of roasted root is appropriate for your health. This product is made Organically in Ukraine, far more preferable than producers in other eastern European countries with a smaller agricultural footprint (and perhaps less quality control regarding use of pesticides and other agra chemicals). My first attempt was two heaping tablespoons in 1 L of hot water heated in an electric glass kettle with a removable infuser. Once the water temperature reached 190°F, I let the mixture steep for 20 minutes, covered. The color was a light brown. My next attempt will be to continue simmering (covered) on low flame for 30 minutes and hopefully get a stronger brew (darker color, more benefits) similar to the water with which you steam fresh dandelions. This is a very high-quality product. Anyone who complains about its Smell (raw or brewed) is probably not used to herbal infusions whose taste is less mainstream than mass produced herbal teas. I found the brewed taste of this roasted dandelion to be Very drinkable, not bitter at all, and did not require adding honey or other sweeteners. I will be ordering this again soon.

Quality dandelion root
I’m very happy with the dandelion root! Also, I asked about roasting the root and was quickly sent an email with instructions which I will share here:🌿 How to Roast Dandelion Root:Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).Spread the dried roots in a single layer on a baking sheet.Roast for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they turn dark brown and smell roasted (like coffee or chocolate).Let cool, then store in an airtight container. You can then grind it (optional) and steep 1-2 tsp per cup in hot water for 10-15 minutes.I will be looking at their other products to purchase!
